Dear god. I haven't been on here in forever. I'm 18 now. Some things have changed a lot and most things are the same. I haven't been able to write any decent poetry or take any pictures in about two years. I just haven't had the drive or willpower. Some of these poems are awful. Some are pretty okay. People in general were incredibly nice to me on here. I liked the world of DeviantArt better than I liked reality. Hell, I probably still do. I think I found a home of sorts on here. I even met a steady friend I've known now for several years. I think the main thing I need to do is move out of this godforsaken house before things can get better for me. I'm working on that, step by step. I'm not happy but I'm not the horribly unhappy 15 year old I was once. And no matter how hard I am on my poetry looking back now, the truth is, it's one of the main things that kept me alive. I owe a lot to my (lack of?) artistry as a teenager. It was a positive drug for me. Maybe it can be again. I'll work on that too.

Yeah I've been busy and my parents won't let me on DevArt at all...the fact that I'm writing this on a friend's computer kinda proves that point LOL. I'm actually getting homeschooled now, weird as it is. I have to get used to it. We'll see how it works, I suppose. How have YOU been?
